Ukrajna felhasználhatja a HIMARS rakéta sorozatvető rendszereket a Krímben lévő orosz létesítmények megsemmisítésére – közölte szombaton Vadim Szkibickij, a Védelmi Minisztérium hírszerzési főosztályának munkatársa egy televíziós adásban, számolt be a korrespondent.net hírportál.
A jelentés szerint Szkibickij az ukrán televízió non-stop háborús műsorának nyilatkozva elmondta: a megszállt Krím félszigeten található katonai létesítmények és az orosz fekete-tengeri flotta hajói Ukrajna célpontjai, amelyeket az amerikai rakétarendszerekkel meg lehet támadni. A Krím ma Oroszország számára minden katonai felszerelés és fegyver szállításának logisztikai központja – mutatott rá.
Mint a hírszerző tiszt kifejtette, a Krím félsziget mostanra Oroszország Ukrajna déli régióiba irányuló összes felszerelésének és fegyvereinek a szállítási központjává vált. Tehát ott mindenekelőtt katonai felszerelések, lőszerek és egyéb anyagok halmozódnak fel, amelyek a Krím félszigeten összpontosulnak, és az orosz megszálló erőket látják el velük – emlékeztetett.
Szkibickij rámutatott, hogy Oroszország aktívan használja a fekete-tengeri flottát az Ukrajna elleni rakétacsapásokhoz. Szerinte a megszállók Kaliber cirkálórakétákat, fregattokat, kis rakétahordozókat és tengeralattjárókat használnak. „Ezért ezek is a célpontok egyikei lehetnek, amelyeket meg kell semmisíteni állampolgáraink, létesítményeink és általában Ukrajna biztonságának a megőrzése érdekében” – hangsúlyozta a hírszerző szakember.
