A nagykövet megjegyezte: a több mint egy éve tartó orosz agresszió és az állandó áramszünet miatt az odesszaiak nem használhatják az elektromos városi közlekedést, így a buszok igencsak nagy segítséget jelentenek a lakóknak. Ami a generátorokat illeti, azokat legyőzhetetlenségi pontokra szállítják.

Olekszij Reznyikov védelmi miniszter felszólította európai kollégáit, hogy szállítsanak havonta 250 ezer lövedéket Ukrajnának a fegyveres erők előrenyomulásának biztosítása érdekében – számolt be szombaton az rbc.ua hírportál a Financial Times című brit lapra hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint az Európai Unió 27 tagállamában tevékenykedő kollégáinak írt levelében Reznyikov megjegyezte, hogy az ukrán fegyveres erők lőszerhiány miatt szükséges számú lövedéknek csak az ötödét állítják elő. Ez átlagosan 110 ezer 155 mm-es lőszert jelent, míg Oroszország négyszer többet használ fel.
Az ukrán védelmi miniszter kijelentette, hogy a harci feladatok sikeres végrehajtásához a teljes lőszerszükséglet minimálisan legalább 60%-a, vagyis havi 356 400 lövedék kell.
A hírportál emlékeztetett arra, hogy korábban arról számoltak be, hogy Ukrajna néhány héten belül egymilliárd euró értékű lövedéket kap az uniós országoktól. Josep Borrell, az Európai Unió kül- és biztonságpolitikai főképviselője elmondta, hogy az Európai Unió háromoldalú tervet kíván javasolni Ukrajna szükséges munícióval történő ellátására.

Az Egyesült Királyság eddig még nem adott légi járműveket Ukrajnának, most viszont három Sea King helikoptert is átadnak majd Kijevnek, amelyből az elsőt már le is szállították – írja a Bloomberg.

A bejelentés alig néhány nappal azután érkezett, hogy Rishi Sunak brit kormányfő váratlanul Kijevbe látogatott, és találkozott Volodimir Zelenszkij ukrán elnökkel. Azon a találkozón Sunak egy 50 millió fontos támogatási csomagot jelentett be, amelyet Ukrajna hadseregének szánnak. Ennek része 125 légvédelmi fegyver és a hozzá tartozó felszerelés is, amellyel az iráni drónok ellen vehetnék fel hatékonyabban a harcot az ukránok.
A Sikorsky SH-3 Sea King helikoptereket a 60-as években rendszeresítették az Egyesült Államokban, elsősorban a tengeralattjárók elleni harcra fejlesztették ki őket, de a két hajtóműves légi jármű remekül megállta a helyét más területeken is. A világ számos országában használják, elsősorban a flottáknál.

Szlovákia szeptemberben mind a 11 darab MiG-29-es vadászrepülőjét átadja Ukrajnának – mondta a szlovák védelmi minisztérium szóvivője egy televíziós interjúban.
A repülők irányításához az ukrán hadsereg rendelkezik pilótákkal, Pozsony pedig amúgy is lecseréli gépparkját modernebb amerikai F-16-osokra.
A megállapodás szerint, amíg az új gépek meg nem érkeznek, addig a cseh és a lengyel légierő védi majd a szlovák légteret.
Északi szomszédunk egyébként már több esetben adott át fegyvereket Ukrajnának.

Az Észak-macedón Köztársaság vezetése térítésmentesen átadja Ukrajnának a T-72-es harckocsijait, amelyeket korábban Oroszországtól kapott – számolt be pénteken a korrespondent.net hírportál az RTS szerb tévé- és rádiócsatornára hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint a szkopjei hatóságok elismerték, hogy T-72-es harckocsikat adományoztak Ukrajnának, miután katonai járművek konvojáról készült felvételek jelentek meg a közösségi médiában. Stevo Pendarovski elnök azzal vádolta Moszkvát, hogy „egyes politikai alanyokat finanszíroz” az országban.
Ukrajna felé indult csütörtökön egy macedón harckocsikonvoj – erősítette meg a védelmi minisztérium, és kijelentette, hogy egy hamarosan feloszlatandó zászlóalj „harmadik generációs” harckocsijairól van szó. A felvételen több tankszállító is látható ponyvával borított járművekkel, de a védelmi minisztérium nem közölte, hány harckocsi indult Ukrajna felé.
A macedón hadsereg fegyvertárában 31 ilyen típusú jármű található. Ezeket a tankokat Oroszország 2000-ben szállította a szkopjei hatóságoknak az Ali Ahmeti Nemzeti Felszabadító Hadsereg lázadása idején. A macedón védelmi minisztérium lényegében azzal magyarázta a döntést az Ukrajnának adományozott harckocsikról, hogy ezek a járművek néhány éven belül versenyképtelenek lesznek, valamint hamarosan modern páncéltörő fegyverekre cserélik őket.
Stevo Pendarovski macedón elnök azzal vádolta meg Oroszországot, hogy beavatkozik Észak-Macedónia belpolitikai ügyeibe, kijelentve, hogy Moszkva finanszíroz bizonyos politikai alanyokat. „Minden állami intézmény tudja, hogy Oroszország beavatkozik a belügyeinkbe. Utoljára az emberein, politikai alattvalóin keresztül orosz ügynökök, vagyis az orosz titkosszolgálatok emberei jönnek a térségbe. Nem tudom nyilvánosan megmondani, honnan mert ez érzékeny információ” – mondta Pendarovsky.

Megkapta az ukrán haderő az első VAB páncélozott szállító harcjárműveket, melyeket a francia kormány adományozott az országnak.
A francia védelmi minisztérium szerint az ukránok „nagy mennyiségű” VAB-t kapnak majd Párizstól, a mostani szállítmány csak az első csomag.
Számos más országgal ellentétben Franciaország nem teszi közzé, hogy pontosan milyen számú, mekkora értékű haditechnikai eszközzel segítik az ukránokat.
A VAB az 1970-es évek óta áll a francia haderő szolgálatában, több ezer darabbal rendelkeznek belőle. A jármű elsődleges feladata a gyalogsági alakulatok mobilitásának elősegítése, minimális fegyverzettel, egy 7,62-es vagy egy 12,7 milliméteres géppuskával van ellátva.

Johnson előre be nem jelentett látogatásra érkezett az ukrán fővárosba, ahol Volodimir Zelenszkij ukrán elnökkel tárgyalt.
A Downing Street szombat esti beszámolója szerint Johnson közölte Zelenszkijjel, hogy a brit kormány 120 páncélozott katonai járművet szállít Ukrajnának, emellett hajók ellen bevethető rakétarendszereket is átad az ukrán fegyveres erőknek.
A londoni miniszterelnöki hivatal szóvivőjének ismertetése szerint ezeket a fegyvereket az előző nap bejelentett, 100 millió font értékű, védelmi jellegű fegyverszállítmányon túl, annak kiegészítéseként adja Nagy-Britannia Ukrajnának.

Ukrajnán nem segítenének a brit tankok, mert hosszú időbe telne, amíg kiképeznék a kezelőszemélyzetet – jelentett ki Ben Wallace brit védelmi miniszter, adta hírül vasárnap az rbc.ua hírportál a Daily Mail című brit lapra hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint Wallace felhívta a figyelmet arra, hogy hosszú időbe telik a fegyverrendszerek fejlesztéséhez és az új fegyverek használatához szükséges képzés. De egyúttal megerősítette a Starstreak típusú légvédelmi rakéták átadását Ukrajnának.
A miniszter úgy vélte, hogy a hangsúlyt az ukránoknak nyújtott támogatást tekintve a náluk már meglévő orosz vagy szovjet fegyverek fejlesztésére vagy megtalálására kell helyezni. „Brit tankok szállítása nem igazán fog menni” – mutatott rá Ben Wallace.
Mint hírportálunk beszámolt róla, Volodimir Zelenszkij ukrán elnök a csütörtöki NATO-csúcstalálkozóhoz intézett videobeszédében fegyvereket kért az Észak-atlanti Szövetségtől, a többi között repülőgépeinek és tankjainak egy-egy százalékát.
Pénteken azt is megírtuk, hogy az amerikai Forbes magazin által megszólaltatott szakértők szerint az ukrán fegyveres erőknek több tankja van, mint amennyi a háború elején volt, annyit zsákmányolt az orosz hadseregtől. Mint a szakemberek állították, a február 24-i orosz invázió után Ukrajna 74 tankot veszített, ugyanakkor ezzel egy időben az ukrán fegyveres erők legalább 117 orosz harckocsit zsákmányoltak.
