Bennfentes információk alapján, Volodimir Zelenszkij ukrán elnök félórás késéssel érkezett meg a 19.00 órára meghirdetett Nép szolgája frakció ülésére.
Indokolt volt az elvárása annak, hogy Zelenszkij megnevezi az új kormány összetételét. Az elnök a regnáló kormányfő helyére Denisz Smigalt nevezte meg. Ma ő a hivatalban lévő kormány tagja, ez elmúlt egy év alatt rendkívüli karriert futott be.
Ezenkívül az elnök javaslatot tett Tyimofij Milovanov mezőgazdasági miniszterként való jóváhagyására, Ihor Korosztilyovot pedig az ipari fejlesztési minisztérium élére javasolta. Az új egészségügyi miniszternek Ilja Jemecet, az ifjúság és sport ügyeivel foglalkozó minisztérium élére Vadim Gurcájtot javasolta. Poman Zsukovot a gazdasági, Ihor Umanyszkit a pénzügyi, Andrij Tarant pedig a védelmi minisztérium élére terjesztette elő. A miniszterelnökséget vezető minisztert, Dmitro Dubiletet Oleg Nemcsinov váltaná, a külügyminiszteri posztra az elnök Dmitro Kulebát javasolta, aki maradna az euróintegrációért felelős miniszterelnökhelyettes. Maradna posztján Arszen Avakov belügyminiszter, az infrastrukturáért felelős Vlagyiszlav Kriklij valamint Denisz Malyuszka igazságügyi miniszter.
A kormány többi tagjáról még folynak az egyeztetések, valószínűleg március 4-én délig elkészül az új kabinet teljes listája.

Mint arról hírportálunk is beszámolt, Volodimir Zelenszkij, Ukrajna elnöke felmentette Andrij Bohdant az elnöki hivatal vezetői posztjából. Bohdan helyére az elnök Andrij Jermakot, korábbi tanácsadóját nevezte ki.
Vitalik Glagola Telegram-csoportjában számolt be arról, hogy az új vezető nagyban befolyásolja majd Kárpátalja új vezetőjének a sorsát. Az újságíró értesülései szerint az elnöki hivatal új vezetője nem támogatja Mikita Mihajljuk kinevezését megyénk kormányzójává. Jermak úgy véli, hogy megyénk élére egy kárpátaljai lakost kell helyezni, aki jó viszonyban van a helyi elittel és jártas a régió sajátosságaiban. Az elnöki hivatal újonnan kinevezett vezetője elég jó befolyással van az elnökre, s akár meg is győzheti saját jelöltjével kapcsolatban.

Aljona Babak még január 16-án nyújtotta be lemondását, mert, indokolása szerint, nem tudta megszüntetni a korrupciót a felelősségi szférájában, és kedden a Legfelső Tanács megszavazta a menesztését – adta hírül az Ukrajinszka Pravda hírportál.
A felmentése kapcsán a
parlamentben szót kérő volt miniszter hangsúlyozta, Ukrajna építőiparában
korrupció uralkodik, különböző klánok igyekeznek megtartani benne a befolyási
szférájukat. A korrupt személyek – a szavaival – polipként fonták körbe az
ukrán építőipari ágazatot. Mint mondta, rosszakarói most örülnek, de az örömük
nem tart majd sokáig, mert az általa és minisztériuma által kezdeményezett
korrupció elleni intézkedések meg fogják hozni az eredményüket az építői
szférában.
A Batykivscsina (Haza)
párt frakciója indítványozta, hogy Babak beszédét tekintsék bűncselekményről
tett bejelentésnek.
A Legfelső Tanács
egyúttal megszavazta Denisz Smihal kinevezését a közösség- és
területfejlesztési miniszteri tisztségbe.
