A szlovák miniszterelnök egy szerdai sajtótájékoztatón annyit közölt, hogy csütörtökön, az esti órákban utazik Kijevbe az Európai Bizottság elnökével, Ursula von der Leyennel.
Emlékezetes, március közepén három közép-európai ország négy vezetője rendkívüli látogatásra indult az orosz csapatok ostromolta Kijevbe, hogy ott Volodimir Zelenszkij ukrán elnökkel és más vezető tisztviselőkkel tárgyaljanak. A politikusok az Európai Tanács nevében indultak az ukrán fővárosba, az útról előzőleg Charles Michellel, az Európai Tanács elnökével, valamint Ursula von der Leyennel, az Európai Bizottság elnökével is egyeztettek.

Néhány nappal az után, hogy újra megkezdte működését a kijevi szlovén nagykövetség, el kellett távolítani a szlovén zászlót az épületéről, mert túlságosan hasonlít az orosz zászlóra – számolt be az MTI a helyi sajtóre hivatkozva csütörtökön.
Bostjan Lesjak követségi ügyvivő vasárnap érkezett meg Ukrajnába.
A szlovén közszolgálati televíziónak az eset kapcsán úgy nyilatkozott: amikor megérkeztek Kijevbe, elég szeles volt az idő, és amikor felhúzták a szlovén és az európai uniós zászlót, szépen lobogtak a szélben.
„De amikor elállt a szél, és a zászlók lehullottak, a nemzetőrség, majd a rendőrség is odajött, és megkérdezte, hogy a szlovén zászlót ideiglenesen el lehetne-e távolítani, mert túlságosan hasonlít az orosz zászlóra” – mondta az ügyvivő.
A két fehér-kék-piros trikolort csak a címer különbözteti meg egymástól, amely nem látszik akkor, amikor a zászló nincs kifeszítve.
Lesjak a szlovén hadsereg alezredese, akit Ljubljana áthelyezett diplomáciai szolgálatra, és Kijevbe küldte, hogy kifejezze az ukrán kormánynak erkölcsi támogatását. Tomaz Mencin szlovén nagykövet több nagykövetségi alkalmazottal együtt, más országok diplomatáival egy időben elhagyta Kijevet, és most a lengyel–ukrán határ közelében végzi munkáját.
Az ukrán fővárosban jelenleg a szlovén nagykövetségen kívül a lengyel és a vatikáni nagykövetség működik még.

Megkezdte hétfőn működését Bostjan Lesjak követségi ügyvivő Kijevben – közölte a szlovén kormány Twitter-oldalán. Lesjak vasárnap érkezett meg Kijevbe.
„A város üres, szirénák és robbanások hallatszanak a távolból, de a fővárosban maradtak élete normális mederben folyik” – közölte az ügyvivő, és fotókat tett közzé a kijevi szlovén nagykövetség helyiségeiről.
Lesjak a szlovén hadsereg alezredese, akit Ljubljana áthelyezett diplomáciai szolgálatra, és Kijevbe küldte, hogy kifejezze az ukrán kormánynak erkölcsi támogatását.
Janez Jansa szlovén kormányfő kijelentette: a kijevi szlovén diplomáciai képviselet teljes felhatalmazással fog fellépni az ukrajnai rendkívüli állapot idején, és visszautasította az ellenzék azon vádjait, hogy ez kockázatos lépés volt, és hogy fegyveres-diplomáciai missziót küldött Ukrajnába.
Sajtóértesülések szerint Lesjak 2015 és 2019 között civil tagként már tevékenykedett az Európai Biztonsági és Együttműködési Szervezet (EBESZ) megfigyelő missziójában Ukrajnában, a Donbasz térségében.
Tomaz Mencin szlovén nagykövet több nagykövetségi alkalmazottal együtt, más országok diplomatáival egy időben elhagyta Kijevet, most pedig Lengyelországban, az ukrán határhoz közel lát el diplomáciai feladatokat.
Jansa a múlt vasárnap jelentette be, hogy Ukrajnának közvetlen diplomáciai támogatásra van szüksége, és Szlovénia diplomatái hamarosan visszatérnek Kijevbe.
Vlagyimir Putyin orosz elnök február 24-én hajnalban rendelte el katonai művelet végrehajtását az ukrajnai Donyec-medencében, leszögezve, hogy Oroszország tervei között nem szerepel Ukrajna megszállása, ugyanakkor törekedni fog az ország demilitarizálására. Az orosz erők mindazonáltal Ukrajna más térségeiben, köztük Kijevben is támadnak katonai és polgári célpontokat, és támadást indítottak a Moszkva-barát szakadárok is az általuk ellenőrzött kelet-ukrajnai területekről. Mateusz Morawiecki lengyel miniszterelnök Twitter-posztban adott hírt arról, hogy Jaroslaw Kaczynski lengyel miniszterelnök-helyettessel, valamint Janez Jansa szlovén, illetve Petr Fiala cseh kormányfővel együtt a háború sújtotta ukrán fővárosba, Kijevbe érkezett.
A négy vezető vonattal utazott Kijevbe.
Morawiecki azt írta:
„Itt, a háború sújtotta Kijevben zajlik a történelem. Itt harcol a szabadság a zsarnokság világa ellen. Itt mindannyiunk jövője a tét. Az EU támogatja Ukrajnát, amely számíthat barátai segítségére – ezt az üzenetet hoztuk ma Kijevbe”.
A lengyel, a cseh és az szlovén politikai vezetők kijevi látogatását reggel a varsói kormányfői hivatal jelentette be. Kijevben Morawiecki, Kaczynski, Fiala és Jansa az ukrán elnökkel és a kormányfővel, Volodimir Zelenszkijjel, illetve Denyisz Smihallal találkoznak.
A varsói kormányfői hivatal közölte: a politikusok az Európai Tanács nevében indulnak Kijevbe, a látogatás célja, hogy megerősítsék az Európai Unió támogatását Ukrajna szuverenitása és függetlensége számára, valamint bemutassák az ukrán államnak és társadalomnak szánt széleskörű támogatási csomagot.

Olekszij Aresztovics, az Elnöki Hivatal vezetőjének tanácsadója egy vasárnap esti televíziós műsorban kijelentette, hogy Kijevre nézve jelenleg nincs veszély, és sokáig nem is lesz, mert az összes orosz egység szét van verve – adta hírül az rbc.ua hírportál.
A jelentés szerint Aresztovics az UArazom televíziós adásban azt mondta: „egyáltalán nem kell aggódni Kijev miatt. Az összes Kijev felé tartó orosz erő szét van verve.” Hozzátette, az oroszok védekezésre kényszerültek. „Most a falvakban gyalogosan bóklásznak, mert nem tudnak járművekkel mozogni, elfogyott az üzemanyaguk” – állította.
A tanácsadó hangsúlyozta, hogy most nincs veszély Kijevben. „Nincs közvetlen veszély Kijevre nézve, és a közeljövőben sem várható. És ez ugyanúgy vonatkozik Harkivra, Szumira, Csernyihivre” – biztosított mindenkit Olekszij Aresztovics.

Evakuálta kijevi nagykövetségét Szlovákia, a külképviseletet szállító konvoj már hazafelé tart – jelentette a TASR szlovák közszolgálati hírügynökség Ivan Korcok külügyminiszter közlésére hivatkozva szerdán.
Ivan Korcok a pozsonyi kormány szerdai ülése előtt elmondta: a döntést a biztonsági részleg helyzetértékelése alapján hozták meg, a kivitelezéssel eddig a megfelelő biztonsági helyzetre vártak. A miniszter közölte azt is, hogy a hazaszállítást kivitelező diplomáciai konvoj tíz autóból áll, s 26 személyt szállít, köztük a szlovák külképviselet dolgozóin kívül más állampolgárokat – brit és német újságírókat, illetve ukrán állampolgárokat – is.
Korcok egyidejűleg bejelentette: Szlovákia megszünteti az orosz diplomaták vízummentességét. Hozzátette: ez esetben egy, az Európai Unió (EU) többi országával egyeztetett lépésről van szó.

Az orosz hadvezetés az összes tartalékát felhasználta, csökkenni fog a támadás intenzitása, a Kreml már új minszki tárgyalásokat emleget – jelentette be Olekszij Aresztovics, az Elnöki Hivatal vezetőjének tanácsadója pénteken Facebook-közleményében, adta hírül a Levij Bereg hírportál.
A jelentés szerint Aresztovics azt írta: „az orosz katonai vezetés az összes felhalmozott erőt Ukrajna ellen vetette be. Már nincs tartalékuk.” Hozzátette, hogy „amerikai adatok szerint az oroszok 160 Kalibr típusú szárnyas rakétát vetettek be ellenünk, ami azt jelenti, hogy hamarosan szerényebbek lesznek a csapások, mert egész egyszerűen nincs elegendő számú rakétájuk.”
Az ukrán médiában katonai szakértőként is ismert tanácsadó szerint az oroszok számára már csak a haditengerészeti partraszállás és a stratégiai nehézbombázók csapása maradt meg, ami lényegében hasonló a szokványos Kalibr-indításhoz. De mint rámutatott, megjelentek a Kreml első nyilatkozatai a „lehetséges új minszki tárgyalásokról”. Emlékeztetett arra, hogy a tárgyalások mindig azt jelentik, hogy az ellenség, ha nem is fulladt, még ki, de gondolkodni kezdett. „És valahol megértem. A roham és a nyomás nem működnek, különösen a felrobbantott hidakon keresztül. És számukra az 1945 óta legnagyobb veszteségek jönnek” – figyelmeztette az ellenséget Olekszij Aresztovics, megjegyezve, hogy a következő napokban „egyre hangsúlyosabbá válhat a Kreml tárgyalási hajlandósága és az elért ukrán pozíciók megszilárdítása.
