A Bild am Sonntag német lap úgy tudja, hogy Olaf Scholz német kancellár Emmanuel Macronnal és Mario Draghival közösen látogat el az ukrán fővárosba, még a június végi G7-es csúcs előtt.
A lap ukrán és francia kormányzati forrásokra hivatkozva ír erről. A Reuters megkereste a német kormányzati szóvivőt, aki egyelőre nem erősítette meg a hírt. A lap ugyanakkor megjegyzi, hogy a három közül egyik vezető sem volt Kijevben azóta, hogy február végén az oroszok támadást indítottak Ukrajna ellen.

A tudósítás szerint Zelenszkij azt mondta, „most természetesen nemcsak Ukrajna, hanem az Európai Unió és az egész európai kontinens számára is döntő időszak van. Most dől el az egyesült Európa jövője, és hogy lesz-e egyáltalán jövője.” Mint kifejtette, véleménye szerint Oroszország az európai egységet kívánja lerombolni és Európát meggyengíteni. „Európa a fő célpont, és az ukrajnai háború csak az orosz agresszió első szakasza” – vetítette előre az államfő.
Ennek kapcsán Zelenszkij hangsúlyozta: „éppen ezért lehet a pozitív válasz az ukrán tagfelvételi kérelemre a pozitív uniós válasz arra a kérdésre, hogy van-e egyáltalán jövője az európai projektnek.” Azt is kiemelte, hogy az európai projekt nem valósulhat meg Ukrajna nélkül, hiszen most az ukránok védik Európát.
Korábban Ursula von der Leyen korábban azt közölte, hogy az Európai Bizottság valószínűleg javasolni fogja Ukrajna EU-tagjelölti státuszának a megadását, de további feltételeket fog szabni.
Az Európai Bizottság várhatóan június 17-én teszi közzé a döntését Ukrajna európai uniós tagjelölti státuszának megadásával kapcsolatban.

Szombaton Kijevben fogadta António Costa portugál miniszterelnököt Volodimir Zelenszkij. Az ukrán elnök közlése szerint többek között az újabb EU-s szankciócsomagról, az európai integrációról és Ukrajna háború utáni újjáépítéséről tárgyaltak. Portugália azt is bejelentette, hogy 250 millió eurós pénzügyi segítséget nyújt Ukrajnának.
Hozzátette: a „barbár orosz agresszió” árnyékában, az Ukrajna és az ukrán nép iránti szolidaritás jeleként érkezett a fővárosba.
Costa útja során találkozott Volodimir Zelenszkij ukrán elnökkel. Mint Twitter-bejegyzésében írta, Portugália „egyértelműen Ukrajna mellett áll”, továbbá „elkötelezettek a humanitárius, pénzügyi és katonai támogatás további elmélyítése iránt”.

A találkozóról beszámolt Telegram-csatornáján Zelenszkij is, aki azt írta, hogy „fontos és tartalmas” találkozót tartottak a portugál kormányfővel, akivel további védelmi támogatásról egyeztettek, továbbá megvitatták az Oroszország elleni újabb szankciócsomagot, a háborús bűnösök felelősségre vonását, az európai integrációt és Ukrajna háború utáni újjáépítését. Az elnök köszönetet mondott Portugáliának a támogatásért.

Andrij Melnik Ukrajna németországi nagykövete egy lapinterjúban Olaf Scholz német kancellárt, amiért megtagadta, hogy Kijevbe utazzon, mondván addig nem hajlandó az ukrán fővárosba látogatni, amíg Frank-Walter Steinmeier német szövetségi elnök ezt nem tette meg – adta hírül kedden az rbc.ua hírportál.
A jelentés szerint a diplomata a Der Spiegel című német hetilapnak nyilatkozva azt mondta: „sértett virslit játszani nem hangzik túl állami dolognak.” Kiemelte: „ez a legbrutálisabb megsemmisítő háború az Ukrajna elleni náci támadás óta, ez nem óvoda.”
A hírportál az előzményekre emlékeztetve azt írta, hogy Ukrajna kormánya korábban visszamondta Frank-Walter Steinmeiernek a kijevi látogatását, mert az ukrán vezetés szerint a német szövetségi elnök az utóbbi években szoros kapcsolatokat ápolt Oroszországgal.
Később Andrij Melnik bejelentette, hogy Olaf Scholzot meghívták Kijevbe, hogy az ukrán vezetéssel vitassa meg a nehézfegyverek szállítását Ukrajnának. A német kancellár azonban kijelentette, hogy addig nem fog Kijevbe látogatni, amíg Steinmeier ezt nem teszi meg.

Boris Johnson brit miniszterelnök azt fontolgatja, villámlátogatást tesz Kijevbe, hogy kifejezze támogatását Ukrajnának az Oroszország elleni háborúban, a beosztottjai most egy ilyen döntés megvalósíthatóságát elemzik – írta az rbc.ua hírportál hétfőn a Daily Mail című brit lapra hivatkozva.
Az újság szerint Johnson azt kérte a tisztségviselőktől, vizsgálják meg annak megvalósíthatóságát és értékét, hogy az ukrán fővárosba utazzon és tárgyaljon Volodimir Zelenszkij elnökkel. A brit kormányfő utazását azonban – mint a kiadvány tájékoztat – kategorikusan ellenzi a biztonsági szolgálata, amely attól tart, hogy nem tudja megszervezni a szükséges szintű biztonságot abban az országban, ahol a háború folyik. Johnson azonban a média szerint mindenképp megpróbál ilyen módon változtatni a helyzeten.

A Legfelső Tanács és a frakciók vezetőivel találkozott csütörtökön Kijevben a hivatalos ukrajnai látogatáson tartózkodó Antony Blinken amerikai külügyminiszter és helyettese, Victoria Nuland, aki azt kérte, hogy Ukrajna ne pedálozza a NATO-csatlakozás témáját, hanem inkább a reformokkal foglalkozzon – írta a strana.ua hírportál parlamenti forrására hivatkozva.
Az informátor a kiadványnak elmondta, hogy a találkozón ukrán részről Razumkov házelnök és a frakciók vezetői – Porosenko, Timosenko, Bojko, Oszadcsuk és Arahamija – vettek részt. Felszólalásában Razumkov a reformok fontosságát hangsúlyozta, és bírálta Andrij Kobolevnek, a Naftohaz Ukrajini állami részvénytársaság vezetőjének leváltását. Porosenko Ukrajna NATO-belépésének a szükségességét és az orosz agresszió témáját hangsúlyozta. Timosenko koronavírus elleni vakcinát kért az amerikaiaktól, szóba hozta a szegénység elleni küzdelem kérdését, és bírálta Volodimir Zelenszkij elnököt. Bojko a tűzszünet mint a minszki folyamat alapjának fontosságát emelte ki. Az Oroszország elleni nyugati szankciókról azt mondta, hogy azok nem oldják meg a problémát, és síkra szállt a Washington és Moszkva közötti párbeszéd mellett.
Victoria Nuland válaszában kijelentette, hogy Ukrajnának nem kellene pedáloznia a NATO témáját, inkább a reformokkal kellene foglalkoznia, mert szerinte a „cégtábla” kifüggesztése semmit nem jelent. Problémának nevezte Kobolev elbocsátását, rámutatva, hogy az ukrán vezetésnek ebben a kérdésben nincs igaza.
Antony Blinken mindössze három percig beszélt. Azt emelte ki, hogy az USA támogatja Ukrajnát, de Kijevnek harcolnia kell a korrupció ellen, és ehhez biztosítania kell a korrupcióellenes szervek függetlenségét.

A CBS News híradása szerint Blinken egy interjúban erősítette meg, hogy Kijevbe utazik. A teljes interjú vasárnap a 60 minutes című műsorban kerül adásba. „Oroszország nagyobb erőket vont össze a határnál, mint 2014-ben, amikor ténylegesen megtámadta Ukrajnát” – mondta a CBS News által közölt interjúrészletben Blinken.
Oroszország a NATO „fenyegető” tevékenységére hivatkozva hajtott végre hadgyakorlatot az ukrán határ közelében, majd a csapatok visszavonását rendelte el.
„Az elmúlt napokban azt láttuk, hogy döntés született a csapatok egy részének visszavonásáról, és bizonyos erők tényleg elkezdtek visszahúzódni” – fogalmazott Blinken, hozzátéve: „nem mondhatom, hogy ismernénk Putyin elnök szándékait. Több dolgot is tehet vagy dönthet úgy, hogy nem tesz”.

Ukrajna kész a partnerség új formáinak fejlesztésére az USA-val a biztonsági szférában, és vizsgálja a számára szükséges fegyverzetek vásárlásának kérdését – jelentette ki Volodimir Zelenszkij elnök pénteken Kijevben a Mike Pompeo amerikai külügyminiszterrel hivatalában folytatott megbeszélést követő közös sajtótájékoztatón, tájékoztatott az Interfax-Ukrajina hírügynökség.
Az államfő hangsúlyozta,
„Ukrajna kész a partnerség új formáinak fejlesztésére az USA-val a biztonsági
szférában. Ezt bizonyítja a történelmi szerződés a Javelin tankelhárító
rakétarendszerek megvásárlásáról.” Jelezte, az amerikai külügyminiszterrel
megvitatta az ukrán haditengerészet Island osztályú naszádokkal történő
erősítésének, valamint az ukrán légvédelem fejlesztésének kérdéseit, aminek
kapcsán megvizsgálták az Ukrajna számára szüksége új fegyverzetek beszerzésének
opcióit.
Zelenszkij azt is
elmondta, hogy Ukrajna szorosan együttműködik amerikai partnereivel
hadiiparának sikeres megreformálása érdekében. Meggyőződését fejezte ki, hogy
ez új impulzust ad majd a kölcsönösen előnyös együttműködésre a vezető amerikai
fegyvergyártó vállalatokkal. Kiemelte annak fontosságát, hogy Amerikában
kétpárti konszenzus van Ukrajna támogatását illetően.
Az elnök jelezte,
2020-ban az USA Ukrajnát támogató programjainak összege 700 millió dollárt tesz
ki, amiből 365 millió az ország védelmi és biztonsági kapacitásának a növelését
szolgálja.
