A #DroneSongs elnevezésű kampány augusztus 24-ig tart. Ez idő alatt 300 ezer eurót terveznek összeszedni, ami 500 Toro shock FPV drón vásárlásához elegendő.



Ezek a drónok ukrán és litván szakemberek közös fejlesztése. Kategóriájuk egyik legjobbjának tartják őket.

A litvánok nagyon komolyan gondolják a segítséget, most pedig egy adománygyűjtést szerveztek, hogy az ukrán erők a megfelelő eszközökkel szállhassanak harcba az oroszokkal.



A Laisves TV, a gyűjtést elindító litván internetes műsorszolgáltató szerint mindössze három nap alatt közel 4,4 millió eurót (!) gyűjtöttek össze a célra, ráadásul ezt a gigantikus összeget nem pár gazdag ember dobta össze, hanem több száz litván.



A 32 éves Agne Belickaite, aki maga is hozzájárult 100 euróval az adománygyűjtéshez úgy fogalmazott, a háború előtt senki sem gondolta volna, hogy egyszer majd önszántukból fognak fegyvereket vásárolni, ám mostanra ez teljesen normálissá vált számukra. A nő rámutatott, “valamit tenni kell, hogy a világ jobb legyen”.



A Reutersnek nyilatkozva hozzátette, már a háború kezdete óta rendszeres adományozó, s mindig Ukrajnának gyűjt, hogy fegyvereket vásároljanak az ukrán erőknek. Azt is elárulta, hogy először nagyrészt az motiválta, hogy attól tart, Oroszország esetleg Litvániát is megtámadja.



Egyelőre nem tudni pontosan, hogy milyen drónokat szeretnének vásárolni Ukrajnának, annyi azonban biztos, hogy a török gyártmányú Bayraktar drónhoz hasonló fejlett katonai eszközt fognak vásárolni az adományokból. Az unortodox megmozdulásra Ukrajna litvániai nagykövete is reagált, aki szinte alig talált szavakat a hihetetlen gesztus kapcsán:



„Ez az első eset a történelemben, amikor egyszerű emberek azért indítanak adománygyűjtést, hogy egy Bayraktarhoz hasonló drónt vásároljanak. Ez példa nélküli, egyszerűen hihetetlen.”
