A hírportál emlékeztetett arra, hogy Szergej Lavrov orosz külügyminiszter a többi között tömegpusztító fegyverek bevetésével fenyegetőzött az ENSZ-ben tartott sajtótájékoztatóján. Arról beszélt, hogy „az összes orosz törvény és doktrína, beleértve a nukleárist is, a „népszavazással” Oroszországhoz csatlakozó ukrán területekre is vonatkozni fog, amennyiben azt az Oroszországi Föderáció alkotmányában is rögzítik.
