Kabulban, Afganisztán fővárosában nők egy csoportja vonult ki az utcára, hogy felszólítsa az országokat, hogy ne ismerjék el a tálib kormányt. A tiltakozásra a jövő hétre tervezett ENSZ-csúcs előtt került sor – közölte az Al Arabiya az Agence France-Presse-re hivatkozva.
Körülbelül 25 nő vonult fel Kabul egyik lakónegyedén. A tiltakozás közel 10 percig tartott, és a biztonsági erőkkel való összecsapások nélkül zajlott le. A felvonulás résztvevői „A tálibok elismerése a nők jogainak megsértése”, „Az afgánok a tálibok túszai” és „Harcolni fogunk, meghalunk, visszavesszük jogainkat” skandálták.
