Denisz Smihal miniszterelnök vasárnap az Olaf Scholz német kancellárral tartott berlini találkozóján azt javasolta, hogy az Európai Uniónak és ENSZ-nek egy különleges missziót kell küldeni a Zaporizzsjai Atomerőműbe a létesítmény demilitarizálására – közölte az Ukrajinszka Pravda a kormányfő Twitter-bejegyzésére hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint a miniszterelnök jelezte, hogy tárgyaláson szó esett Ukrajna védelmi képességeinek a megerősítéséről és további átfogó támogatásáról. „Európa energiabiztonsága napirenden van. Javasoltam az EU és az ENSZ különleges missziójának küldését a Zaporizzsjai Atomerőműbe. Megbizonyosodtam arról, hogy Németország megbízható és következetes partnere Ukrajnának.”

A kormányfő megköszönte Scholznak azt is, hogy kezdeményezte egy újjáépítési konferencia megszervezését októberben Berlinben. „Gyakorlati lépéseken dolgozunk, amelyek elősegítik az újjáépítés mielőbbi megkezdését. Németország támogatásával a nemzetközi pénzügyi szervezetekkel való együttműködés erősítésére törekszünk” – hangsúlyozta Denisz Smihal.
A hírportál emlékeztetett arra, hogy a miniszterelnök berlini látogatása során az ukrajnai fegyverszállításairól is tárgyalt Frank-Walter Steinmeierrel, Németország elnökével.

We condemn Russia’s brutal strikes overnight against Ukraine’s cities and civilian infrastructure. It’s critical we provide Ukraine more air defenses to defend against these attacks. Lives are on the line. House Republicans must pass the national security supplemental ASAP.
