Oroszország viselkedése az európai színtéren „politikai pandémia” és komoly kihívás az Európai Unió szolidaritását illetően – jelentette ki Dmitro Kuleba külügyminiszter pénteken a Benelux államok külügyminisztereivel közösen tartott kijevi sajtótájékoztatóján, adta hírül az rbc.ua hírportál.
Az ukrán diplomácia vezetője szerint ma két komoly kihívás létezik az EU-szolidaritással szemben. „Az első Oroszország, mivel Oroszország állandóan kihívást intéz az EU-szolidaritással szemben” – tette hozzá, második kihívásként a Covidot nevezve meg. Szerinte mindkettő – metaforikus megfogalmazásában – pandémiaként jellemezhető a politikában és az egészségügyben.
Kuleba jelezte: Kijev jelenleg nincs abban a helyzetben, hogy megmondja az EU-nak, minként tudna hatékonyabban segíteni a harmadik országoknak a Covid-19 elleni küzdelemben.

Calls to avoid humiliation of Russia can only humiliate France and every other country that would call for it. Because it is Russia that humiliates itself. We all better focus on how to put Russia in its place. This will bring peace and save lives.
Keeping up the support for Ukraine is essential for European partners, because Putin hates the well-being of Europeans and wants to bring crisis to the door of every European home. Ukraine stands in the way of these malicious plans. By supporting us, partners support themselves.
