A tábornok hangsúlyozta, hogy az ilyen kiképzések, illetve a nem hadászati atomfegyverekkel kapcsolatos fontos kérdések kidolgozása a felkészültség és a potenciál növelésének egyik módja. Mint mondta, elemzik az eredményeket, de máris biztonsággal kijelentheti, hogy a fehérorosz fegyveres erők alegységei és szakaszai felkészültek a különleges atomfegyver alkalmazására. A tábornok kijelentéseit a fehérorosz védelmi minisztérium sajtószolgálata idézte.
A vezérőrnagy elmondta, hogy a hadgyakorlatban az Iszkander rakétarendszerek és a légierő vettek részt.
Korábban az orosz védelmi minisztérium közölte, hogy megkezdődött a nem stratégiai atomfegyverekkel végzett hadgyakorlat második szakasza, amelynek során közösen felkészítik az orosz és fehérorosz fegyveres erőket a nem stratégiai atomfegyverek harci bevetésére.
