У столиці Греції місті Афіни на виході з ресторану група із 20 осіб скоїла напад на колишнього міністра фінансів, політика лівої опозиції Яніса Варуфакіса.
Натовп зібрався біля ресторану у п’ятницю ввечері. Спочатку 61-річного Варуфакіса ображали з вулиці, вигукуючи, що він зрадив інтереси лівих сил і “продався Трійці”, тобто Європейській комісії, Міжнародному валютному фонду і Європейському центральному банку.
Коли політик вийшов за двері, щоб поговорити з тими, хто його звинувачував, на нього напали кілька людей у капюшонах, які повалили його на землю, били ногами та кулаками в обличчя, в результаті чого йому зламали ніс. Після нападу Варуфакіса госпіталізували.
Наступного дня після нападу, 11 березня, у своєму Twitter ексміністр спростував повідомлення про те, що нападники були представниками ультралівих груп.
“Вони не були анархістами, лівими, комуністами чи членами будь-якого руху”, — написав він, назвавши нападників “проплаченими бандитами”.

Росія, ймовірно, готується до нового наступу і першою ознакою є підвищення активності інформаційних атак. Про це написав секретар РНБО Олексій Данілов у шпальті Української правди.
Перед тим як бити з танків, противник застосовує „отруйні інформаційні гази”, до складу яких входять маніпуляції, фейки, дезінформація, брехня, а також активізуються ворожі агенти інформаційного впливу, написав він.
„…Росія готується до наступу, першою ознакою якого відповідно до усталеної тактики є реалізація активних інформаційних заходів… Нас хочуть залякати, тому що перемогти на полі бою вони не в змозі. Ми повинні з вами це пам’ятати”, – зазначив секретар РНБО.
Данілов зазначив, що росіяни продовжують мріяти про захоплення Києва. Але зараз, за його словами, завданням для росіян є максимум – прорив на оперативних напрямках: південь, повна окупація українських Донецької та Луганської областей, переривання ланцюжків постачання зброї. Чого, до речі, у них досі не вдається.
„І, звичайно, Київ залишається головною мрією путінських фантазій. Росія готується до наступу, першою ознакою якого згідно з постійною тактикою є реалізація активних інформаційних заходів”, – сказано у його колонці.
