A tudósítás szerint Jermak az Atlanti Tanács konferenciáján azt mondta, az Egyesült Államok érdekelt abban, hogy részt vegyen a donbászi helyzet békés rendezésben, de folytatni fogja Moszkvával a kétoldalú tárgyalásokat. „Zelenszkij azt javasolta Bidennek – és úgy gondoljuk, ennek van értelme –, hogy szervezzen háromoldalú találkozót, esetleg videokonferencia keretében maga Biden, Zelenszkij és Putyin részvételével” – tette hozzá. Ugyanakkor megjegyezte, hogy az ukrán fél továbbra is várja Oroszország válaszát.
