Megjegyezte azonban: az országban mindenki abban reménykedik, hogy nem kell két-három évig tűrni.
„Azt hiszem, mindannyian reméljük, hogy nem így lesz. Mindannyian nagyon bízunk abban, hogy mindennek vége lesz. Tudják, könnyű lefutni a maratont, ha tudod, hány kilométer maradt. Mi sajnos nem tudjuk, hány kilométer van hátra, az erőnket kell számolni. Nehéz. Néha nagyon nehéz, de aztán történnek dolgok, amelyek segítenek kitartani” – mondta Zelenszka.
„Annyi megpróbáltatásban volt részünk ezekben a hónapokban, annyi szörnyű megpróbáltatásban, annyi áldozatot láttunk, annyi pusztítást, hogy őszintén szólva, az áramszünet nem a legrosszabb, ami történhet velünk. Találékonyak leszünk, igyekszünk minden olyan dolgot elvégezni, amihez áram kell. Ha van áram, nem halasztunk semmit későbbre” – tette hozzá.

Az ukrán állampolgároknak nincs szükségük Putyin állampolgárságára, és az erőszakos rákényszerítési kísérletek kudarcra vannak ítélve – szögezte le Dmitro Kuleba külügyminiszter hétfőn.
A tárcavezető arra reagált, hogy Vlagyimir Putyin orosz elnök hétfőn rendeletben kiterjesztette az orosz állampolgárság könnyített megszerzésének lehetőségét Ukrajna minden lakójára.
„Ennek a rendeletnek nincs jelentősége, csak Putyin ragadozó étvágyáról tanúskodik. Meggyőződésem, hogy az ukrán fegyveres erők a partnerek megfelelő támogatásával véget vetnek ezeknek a törekvéseknek” – fogalmazott Kuleba a külügyminisztérium által a tárca honlapján nyilvánosságra hozott közleményben. Hangsúlyozta, hogy most ezért is kiemelten fontos az Ukrajnának nyújtott segítség megerősítése. „Arra buzdítom partnereinket, hogy adjanak kemény választ Putyin új útlevél-fantáziáira: sürgősen lássák el Ukrajnát nehézfegyverekkel, és vezessenek be még több gazdasági szankciót Oroszországgal szemben” – fűzte hozzá.
A külügyminisztérium közölte, hogy az ukrán állampolgárok orosz útlevéllel történő ellátása jogilag semmis, és nem jár jogi következményekkel Ukrajnára nézve. A tárca szerint Oroszország az orosz állampolgárság könnyített megszerzését arra használja, hogy „szorosra húzza a hurkot az ideiglenesen megszállt ukrán területek lakóinak nyakán, és arra kényszeríti őket, hogy részt vegyenek a megszálló hatóságok és az orosz hódító hadsereg bűnöző tevékenységében”.
Keeping up the support for Ukraine is essential for European partners, because Putin hates the well-being of Europeans and wants to bring crisis to the door of every European home. Ukraine stands in the way of these malicious plans. By supporting us, partners support themselves.
I call on all EU and G7 states to stop issuing visas to Russians. President @ZelenskyyUa is absolutely right to insist on this. Russians overwhelmingly support the war on Ukraine. They must be deprived of the right to cross international borders until they learn to respect them.

Oroszország azzal vádolta meg Ukrajnát, hogy támadást indított Donbászon, és hogy az ukrán fegyveres erők ellenőrzésük alá vonták Sztaromarjivka települést, ami a helyzet elfajulásával fenyeget – adta hírül az rbc.ua hírportál csütörtökön az orosz külügyminisztériumra hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint Marija Zaharova, az orosz külügy információs főosztályának vezetője sajtótájékoztatóján elmondta: „az utóbbi napokban a fejlemények aggasztó, tragikushoz közeli alakulását látjuk Délkelet-Ukrajnában. A helyzet komolyan kiéleződött a konfliktusövezetben.”
