Az elnöki ukáz szerint „Tancjura Ihor Ivanovics vezérőrnagy neveztessék ki az ukrán fegyveres erők területvédelmi erőinek parancsnokává.” Elődjét, Jurij Halushkin dandártábornokot idén január 1-jén nevezték ki az ukrán fegyveres erők területvédelmi erőinek parancsnokává.
Tancjura korábban az ukrán fegyveres erők szárazföldi erőinek vezérkari főnökeként szolgált.
Május 2-án az elnök a Bohdan Hmelnickij rendjel III. fokozatával tüntette ki „Ukrajna állami szuverenitásának és területi integritásának védelmében tanúsított személyes bátorságáért és önzetlen cselekedeteiért, valamint a katonai eskühöz való hűségéért”.

Volodimir Zelenszkij elnök pénteken Harkivban, a Helyi és Regionális Önkormányzatok Kongresszusának ülésén utasította több megye vezetőit, hogy két héten belül töltsék fel a területvédelmi alakulatok állományát – adta hírül a korrespondent.net hírportál.
A tudósítás szerint Zelenszkij azt mondta: „a megyei állami adminisztrációk vezetőihez és a kijevi állami adminisztráció vezetőihez fordulok, hogy két hét alatt, rögtönzés nélkül mindent tegyenek meg. A nemzeti ellenállásról szóló törvénynek megfelelően konzultáljanak a katonáinkkal. Nincs időnk keresgélni, döntéseken gondolkodni, politizálni.” Ellenkező esetben személyi konzekvenciákat helyezett kilátásba az elnök.
A hírportál szerint elsősorban Odessza, Mariupol, Rivne és Kijev megyékről, valamint Kijevről van szó, ahol hiányosságok vannak a területvédelmi alakulatok feltöltésében.
Mint hírportálunk ma beszámolt róla Zelenszkij a jelzett fórumon kijelentette: a területvédelem kérdése fontos, olyan dolog, amellyel kizárólag szakemberek, adott esetben csak katonák foglalkozhatnak.Mint rámutatott, mindenkinek, különösen egyes helyi vezetőknek egyértelműen tudniuk kell, hogy vannak dolgok, amelyeket kizárólag szakemberek, kizárólag katonák valósíthatnak meg.
