Elégedetlenségének adott hangot Antony Blinken, az Egyesült Államok külügyminisztere szerdán Vilniusban az Ukrajna Konferencián, amiért szerinte 2014 óta egyetlen magas beosztású tisztségviselőt sem ültettek le korrupció miatt Ukrajnában – adta hírül a strana.ua hírportál.
A jelentés szerint a litván fővárosban szervezett fórumon tartott előadásában Blinken öt reformfeladatot tűzött Ukrajna elé. Ezek egyike a korrupt hivatalnokok felelősségre vonása.
Mint a külügyminiszter rámutatott, egy sor vizsgálatot folytattak, de egyetlen magas beosztású tisztségviselőt sem állítottak elé és nem ítéltek el korrupcióért 2014 óta. Az embereknek látniuk kell, hogy a rendszer működik, hogy tudjanak hinni benne – hangsúlyozta Antony Blinken.
