Oljha Sztefanisina szeptember 15-én kezdte meg munkáját Ukrajna diplomáciai képviselőjeként – számolt be a közösségi médiában.

Az ukrán kormány a maga részéről ez év végéig végrehajtja az Európai Bizottság mindegyik újabb ajánlását, amely az ország Európai Uniós csatlakozásáról szóló tárgyalások megkezdéséhez szükséges – jelentette ki Oljha Sztefanisina, Ukrajna európai és euroatlanti integrációjáért felelős miniszterelnök-helyettese a Kathimerininek adott interjújában, számolt be az Ukrinform.
„Jelenleg hét szükséges lépést tettünk meg (korrupció elleni küzdelem, jogállamiság, tömegtájékoztatás, valamint minden, ami az emberi és szabadságjogokkal kapcsolatos). Most az Európai Bizottság értékelésére és további ajánlásaira várunk. Tavasszal lesz egy előzetes jelentésünk (a Bizottságnak – a szerk.). Ennek alapján az év végéig minden tőlünk telhetőt meg kell tenni” – mondta.
Elmondása szerint az ukrán fél abban reménykedik, hogy ez megteremtheti a szükséges politikai lendületet az ország uniós csatlakozásáról szóló tárgyalások megkezdéséhez.
