 A jelentés szerint Jakub Kumoch, a lengyel elnöki hivatal külpolitikai osztályvezetője közölte: Andrzej Duda lengyel elnököt Gitanas Nauseda litván elnök, Egils Levits lett és Alar Karis észt elnök kíséri Ukrajnában. A vezetők találkozni fognak Zelenszkijjel. „Az a célunk, hogy támogassuk Zelenszkij elnököt és Ukrajna védelmezőit az ország számára döntő pillanatban” – mondta a tisztségviselő, aki a lengyel elnököt kíséri. Lengyelország a látogatás szervezője, és Ukrajnával együtt gondoskodik a logisztikáról és a biztonságról – tette hozzá.
 Kumoch azt is elmondta, „a balti államok kulcsfontosságú partnereink a térség biztonsági kérdéseiben. Közösen úgy döntöttünk, hogy együtt megyünk Kijevbe.” Lengyelország, Litvánia, Lettország és Észtország elnökének kijevi látogatása lesz az államfők első látogatása az ukrán fővárosban az orosz agresszió kezdete óta. Duda és Nauseda utoljára Kijevben találkozott Zelenszkijjel a háború előestéjén.
