A tilalom az autókra vonatkozik, függetlenül a tulajdonos vagy a sofőr állampolgárságától.
A korábban július 18-án bevezetett korlátozások a Fehéroroszország területén nyilvántartásba vett személygépjárművek Litvániába való behajtására nem vonatkoztak azokra az autókra, amelyeket nem eladásra szántak, valamint azokra az autókra, amelyek tulajdonosai érvényes vízummal vagy ideiglenes vízummal rendelkeztek. Mától Litvánia kiterjeszti a beutazási tilalmat az összes Fehéroroszországban regisztrált autóra.
