Háromnapos ukrajnai munka látogatáson vett részt Marta Kos, az EU bővítési biztosa. Hivatalos programja keretében felkereste az ungvári 4-es és 10-es számú líceumot, ahol a gyerekek szlovák, illetve magyar nyelven tanulnak.
Ungváron tárgyalt Várhelyi Olivér, az EU szomszédság- és bővítéspolitikáért felelős biztosa Viktor Mikita kormányzóval. A zárt körű megbeszélést követően Várhelyi Olivér találkozott a KMKSZ vezetőségével a Szövetség székházában. A tárgyalások eredményeiről az EU bővítéséért felelős biztosa rögtönzött sajtótájékoztatón számolt be.
