Jelentősen megnövekedett Emmanuel Macron francia államfő és miniszterelnöke, Jean Castex népszerűsége februárban az előző hónaphoz képest a koronavírus-járvány kezelése miatt – derül ki a BVA közvélemény-kutatóintézet pénteken közzétett felméréséből.
A tanulmány szerint az elnök és kormánya annak köszönheti a jó eredményt, hogy számos járványügyi szakember ajánlásával szemben egyelőre nem hirdetett újabb általános karantént a fertőzőbb koronavírus-variánsok terjedésének megfékezésére.
A franciák 42 százalékának van jó véleménye Emmanuel Macronról, ami egy hónap alatt öt pontos emelkedést jelent. Ezzel az államfő visszanyerte a járvány második hulláma előtti tetszési mutatóját.
Az elnök a népszerűségét nem kizárólag a saját táborában tudta növelni, a baloldalon 10, a jobboldalon 7 százalékkal nőtt Emmanuel Macron népszerűsége, a Marine Le Pen vezette Nemzeti Tömörülés táborában pedig nem változott az elnök 17 százalékos támogatottsága.
Jean Castex miniszterelnök népszerűségi mutatója az elmúlt hónapban hat ponttal emelkedett, és róla is a franciák 42 százaléka van jó véleménnyel. A politikust júliusban nevezte ki az államfő, az akkor 56 százalékos tetszési mutatója januárra 36 százalékra csökkent, és most először indult emelkedésnek.
„A végrehajtó páros közvetlenül és egyértelműen az egészségügyi válságot érintő döntéseinek köszönheti” a kutatóintézet szerint a népszerűsége növekedését. A miniszterelnök a BVA kommentárja szerint azért javított többet, mert ő jelentette be, hogy Emmanuel Macron nem szeretne újabb lezárást.
A franciák csaknem kétharmada (63 százalék) egyetért azzal, hogy még helyi szinten sincs szükség több lezárásra, hanem differenciáltabb eszközökkel kell a mutánsok terjedését megfékezni.
A reprezentatív felmérés február 17-én és 18-án 1003 francia nagykorú megkérdezésével készült.
Jóllehet a fertőzőbb variánsok egyre nagyobb arányt öltenek az újabb megbetegedésekben – a brit variáns aránya jelenleg 36 százalék az előző heti 25 százalékhoz képest, a dél-afrikai és a brazil variáns pedig az új esetek öt százalékát jelenti – országos szinten a járványügyi mutatók csaknem egy hónapja stagnálnak, s az utóbbi napokban valamelyest csökkentek is.
