Volodimir Zelenszkij elnök nem tárgyalt a háború befejezésének modelljeiről Joe Biden amerikai vezetővel washingtoni látogatása során – jelentette ki pénteken Dmitro Kuleba külügyminiszter az rbc.ua hírportálnak adott interjújában.
A kiadvány riporterének felvetésére, miszerint a The Washington Post című amerikai lap arról számolt be, hogy az Egyesült Államoknak három különböző modellje van az ukrajnai háború tárgyalásos befejezéséről, Kuleba azt mondta: „ezekről a modellekről nem esett szó a Biden és Zelenszkij elnök közötti tárgyalásokon. Az amerikai fél egyetlen modell kérdését sem vetette fel.”
Az ukrán diplomácia vezetője megjegyezte: „százszázalékosan eredményes látogatás volt, de az elnök felkészültségének és az ukrán diplomáciának köszönhetően lett az, és az Egyesült Államok is azt akarta, hogy ez a látogatás 100 százalékosan sikeres legyen.” Hozzátette, hogy Ukrajna álláspontja a lehető legvilágosabb: Ukrajna nemzetközileg elismert határai. „És egyetlen négyzetcentiméternyi ukrán föld sem lesz diplomáciai vagy katonai engedmény tárgya” – hangsúlyozta Dmitro Kuleba.
