Az Európai Unióhoz való csatlakozás érdekében Kijev kész megváltoztatni az iskolai nyelvhasználatra vonatkozó szabályokat – írja az Index a Financial Times információira hivatkozva.
Az ukrán miniszterelnök-helyettes, Olha Sztefanisina kijelentette, Ukrajna kész módosítani a kisebbségi jogokról szóló törvényeit annak érdekében, hogy még idén megállapodásra jusson az Európai Unióval a csatlakozási tárgyalások megkezdéséről.
A miniszterelnök-helyettes bejelentése nem véletlen, hiszen épp ez a kérdés vált a legnagyobb akadállyá az Ukrajnával folytatott uniós tagsági tárgyalások megkezdése előtt, a blokk vezetőinek pedig decemberben kell dönteniük a tárgyalások megkezdéséről. A magyar kormány álláspontja szerint a jövőre életbe lépő szabályozás ellehetetlenítené a magyar nyelvű oktatást Kárpátalja magyarlakta részein.
A Financial Times információi szerint az ukrán tisztviselők ezen a héten kétoldalú tárgyalásokat kezdenek Magyarországgal és Romániával, hogy megpróbáljanak megállapodást kötni az ukrán és a kisebbségi nyelvű oktatás egyensúlyáról a középiskolákban.
„Módosítani fogjuk a nemzeti kisebbségekre vonatkozó jogszabályokat, és szükség esetén további módosításokat is beiktathatunk, de mindenekelőtt tárgyalásokra van szükség” – fogalmazott Olha Sztefanisina, aki ezzel kapcsolatban megjegyezte, szerinte az etnikai kisebbségeknek meg kell tanulniuk az államnyelvet, vagyis az ukránt, hogy országszerte élni tudjanak a lehetőségekkel.

Törökország a fekete-tengeri humanitárius folyosóval kapcsolatos gabonamegállapodás korábbi formájának visszaállítására irányuló javaslatokon dolgozik. A Sabah jelentése szerint Isztambulban tárgyalhatnak erről a kérdésről.
„Ha nem nyitják meg újra az Oroszország által felfüggesztett gabonafolyosót, az árak még jobban emelkednek, mert az orosz és ukrán gazdák kevesebbet vetnek. A világ egyetért abban, hogy a problémát csak Erdogan elnök tudja megoldani” – írják az újságírók.
A Sabah szerint a kevésbé fejlett országokban a gabonaárak 15%-kal emelkedtek, mióta Oroszország felmondta a megállapodást. A gabonakezdeményezés felfüggesztése utáni hónapban 220 ezer tonna gabonát károsítottak meg az ukrajnai bombázások, ami egy évre elegendő lenne 810 ezer ember élelmezésére.
Ankara a lehető leghamarabb újjá akarja éleszteni a fekete-tengeri kezdeményezést az alternatív útvonalak helyett. A megtermelt gabona mennyiségének csökkenésével a kevésbé fejlett országokban további áremelkedést és az éhínség valószínűségének növekedését jósolják.
