Volodimir Zelenszkij elnök az Oroszország elleni szankciók kiterjesztését sürgette az Európai Unió részéről kedden az ukrán-EU csúcsértekezlet utáni sajtókonferencián, követelve azoknak a személyeknek a feketelistára tételét, akik részt vettek az orosz parlamenti választások szervezésében és lebonyolításában Krímben és Donbászon – közölte a Jevropejszka Pravda hírportál.
A jelentés szerint Zelenszkij köszönetet mondott az EU-nak amiért évről évre meghosszabbítja az Oroszország elleni szankciókat. „Azonban a szankciós nyomás növelésének a szükségessége régen megérett” – hangsúlyozta.
Az elnök szerint a szankciós listára fel kell vennie az EU-nak azokat a személyeket, akik részt vettek az orosz Duma választások szervezésében és lebonyolításában az ideiglenesen megszállt Krímben, Szevasztopolban és Donbászon. „Nem maradhat az EU figyelmén kívül az emberi jogok rendszeres megsértése az ideiglenesen megszállt Krímben” – emelte ki. Ennek kapcsán helyeslően említette, hogy az EU szankció alá helyezte az „úgynevezett bírói hatalmi ág” nyolc képviselőjét a Krímben.
