A PiS kormánypárt de facto vezetőjére, Jaroslaw Kaczynskire hivatkozva a hírügynökség azt írja, szeptemberben változtatásokra tesz javaslatot a lengyel kormány az igazságszolgáltatási rendszerben.
Az Európai Bíróság augusztus 16-ig kapott határidőt az Európai Bíróságtól arra, hogy „azonnal függessze fel” jelenlegi igazságszolgáltatási gyakorlatát, amely a kritikusok szerint a kormányzó PiS kormánypárt kritikusainak megbüntetését célozza.
A kormány szeptemberben fog javaslatokat beterjeszteni a rendszer „hatékonyabbá tételére” – közölte Kaczynski a Bloomberg szerint, részletek említése nélkül. A PAP ugyanakkor arról számolt be, hogy a legfelsőbb bíróság EU által bírált fegyelmi kamaráját meg fogja szüntetni Lengyelország, tárgytalanná téve ezzel a vitát.
Nemrég még az ügy kapcsán a lengyel igazságügyi miniszter azt mondta, nem kell minden áron az EU-ban maradniuk.
