A jelentés szerint az amerikai médium jelezte, hogy kijevi látogatása során az Egyesült Államok külügyminisztere találkozik Volodimir Zelenszkij elnökkel és Dmitro Kuleba külügyminiszterrel. Az amerikai külügyminisztérium névtelenül nyilatkozó magas rangú tisztviselője szerint a látogatás során az államtitkár több mint egymilliárd dolláros új finanszírozást is bejelent Ukrajna számára.

Néma főhajtás a háború áldozatainak emlékfalánál – a Mihajlovszka téri emlékmű volt Novák Katalin köztársasági elnök kijevi látogatásának első helyszíne. A magyar államfő az ukrán elnök meghívásának eleget téve azért utazott az ukrán fővárosba, hogy részt vegyen a Krími Platform harmadik csúcstalálkozóján. Mindezek előtt találkozott Dmitro Lubinec emberi jogi ombudsmannal. Az ukrán alapvető jogok biztosa arról tájékoztatta Novák Katalint, hogy miként zajlik a megszállt területekről korábban Oroszországba került, ukrajnai gyermekek hazaszállítása, továbbá elmondta, hogy eddig 386 gyermeket sikerült hazajuttatni Oroszországból. Megmutatta a köztársasági elnöknek, hogyan zajlik a gyermekek rehabilitációjának folyamata. Novák Katalin a helyszínen megismerkedett egy Maxim nevű kisfiúval, akit Oroszországba deportáltak korábban és most sikerült hazajuttatni. Az emberi jogi ombudsman megköszönte Magyarországnak, hogy a háború első napjától segíti Ukrajnát. Novák Katalin emellett ellátogatott Moscsun községbe is, ahol az orosz támadást megakadályozó harcokban elesett ukrán katonák emlékhelyét koszorúzta meg. Majd a magyar államfő Bucsában felkereste a Szent András Székesegyházat is, melynek udvarán megkoszorúzták az orosz-ukrán háború első feltárt tömegsírjának emléket állító helyet, a templomban Anatolij Fedoruk, Bucsa polgármestere a kiállított képekkel szemléltette a templomkertben végbement borzalmakat. Ez pedig itt már a Borogyánkai járáshoz tartozó Zahalci település, az ukrajnai magyar segítségnyújtás egyik legfontosabb helyszíne. Az Ökumenikus Segélyszervezet révén a helyi óvodát és az iskolát is újjáépíti a magyar kormány. Novák Katalin köztársasági elnök megtekintette az ideiglenesen felépített konténer óvodát és a közelmúltban elkészült játszóteret. Az ideiglenes épületnek köszönhetően a 60 gyermek ismét tud óvodába járni. A magyar támogatás azonban nem merül ki az ingatlanok felújításában, hiszen egész Ukrajna területén humanitárius segítséget nyújtanak a civil lakosságnak, melynek összege az elmúlt évben meghaladta a 10 milliárd forintot. A magyar államfő Volodimir Zelenszkij ukrán elnök meghívására részt vett a Krími Platform harmadik csúcstalálkozóján.

Már a kedd éjszaka Kijevbe érkezett Novák Katalin a magyar köztársasági elnök, aki szerdán délelőtt az ukrán fővárosban lerótta tiszteletét az Ukrajnáért elesettek emlékfala előtt.
A köztársasági elnök a kijevi Krími Platformra kapott meghívást Volodimir Zelenszkijtől. Novák Katalin és az ukrán elnök szerdán tárgyalást folytatnak.
A magyar köztársasági elnök pénteken a Vatikánba utazik, ahol Ferenc pápa audiencián fogadja Novák Katalint a Vatikánban. A magyar köztársasági elnök idén már másodjára találkozik a pápával.
A magyar politikusok többször hangoztatták, hogy Európában Magyarország és a Vatikán áll a béke pártján. Úgy tudjuk, hogy a pénteki meghallgatás egyik főtémája az orosz–ukrán háború lesz. Volodimir Zelenszkij ukrán elnök még május közepén látogatott el a Vatikánba.
A szentszék közleménye szerint a találkozón Ferenc pápa azt hangsúlyozta: óriási szükség van arra, hogy a konfliktus ártatlan áldozatai, a legkiszolgáltatottabbak humanitárius segítséget kapjanak, valamint imájáról biztosította az ukrán elnököt.
A találkozót követően Zelenszkij elnök elmondta: bár megtiszteltetés volt számára az őszentségével való találkozó, a háború azonban Ukrajnában zajlik, így a béketervnek is ukránnak kell lennie.

Sir Tony Radakin admirális, a brit hadsereg vezérkari főnöke szombaton Kijevbe látogatott, és már érkezett Valerij Zaluzsnijjal, az ukrán fegyveres erők főparancsnokával is találkozni – számolt be az rbc.ua hírportál az ukrán főparancsnok Telegram-közlésére hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint Zaluzsnij azt írta: „Sir Tony Radakin admirális, Nagy-Britannia hadseregének vezérkari főnöke Kijevbe látogatott. Konstruktív találkozóm volt a brit partnereinkkel.” Hozzátette, hogy már érkeztek közösen dolgozni az egyik irányító központban.

We had a long and substantive conversation with @POTUS. We started with one-on-one talks before inviting European leaders to join us. This call lasted for more than an hour and a half, including about an hour of our bilateral conversation with President Trump.
I met with Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal, Princess Anne. This is the first visit of Her Royal Highness to Ukraine since our independence was reinstated and it was symbolic that our meeting took place at such a historic site as Saint Sophia Cathedral in Kyiv.

Mint a lap megjegyezte, a látogatás célja az volt, hogy megerősítse az Egyesült Államok elkötelezettségét a hírszerzési adatok cseréje iránt, amelyek segítik Ukrajnát az agresszor elleni harcban.
A The Washington Post forrásai szerint az ukrán katonai vezetés magánbeszélgetésekben megingathatatlan bizalmát fejezte ki a CIA vezetőjének, hogy a célja a megszállt területek nagy részének felszabadítása őszig, a rakéta- és tüzérségi rendszerek áthelyezése a krími határra, előrenyomulás kelet felé, és hosszú szünet óta először tárgyalások elkezdése az Oroszországgal. „Oroszország csak akkor fog tárgyalásokat folytatni, ha fenyegetve érzi magát” – mondta el egy magas rangú ukrán tisztségviselő az amerikai kiadványnak.

Előre be nem jelentett látogatást tett Kijevben Mike Pence volt amerikai alelnök csütörtökön, fogadta Volodimir Zelenszkij ukrán államfő is – ezt maga Pence közölte az NBC News amerikai hírtelevíziónak adott interjúban.
A korábbi alelnök is versenybe száll azért, hogy a republikánus párt jelöltjeként elindulhasson a jövő évi amerikai elnökválasztáson. Június elején indította el az elnökjelöltségért folytatott kampányát, és az ukrán fővárosban adott interjúban kiemelte: kijevi látogatása megacélozta eltökéltségét, hogy hozzájáruljon a határozott amerikai támogatás sürgetéséhez ukrajnai barátaink és szövetségeseink részére.
„A szabadság győzelemre áll Ukrajnában, és most még inkább, mint valaha, bíznunk kell a bátor harcosokban Ukrajnában, akik kiállnak a szabadságért, és ellenállnak az orosz agressziónak” – hangoztatta Pence.
A CNN hírtelevízió jelentése szerint a volt alelnök látogatást tett a Kijev melletti Bucsában, Irpinyben és Moscsunban is, hogy személyesen lássa az orosz tüzérségi támadások nyomait.
„Meggyőződésem, hogy eljön a nap, amikor Ukrajna szuverenitását helyreállítják” – mondta Pence, hozzátéve, hogy a szabad világ nem fogja eltűrni Oroszország behatolását.
Pence az első a republikánus párti elnökjelöltségért induló politikusok között, aki találkozott Zelenszkijjel a kampány során.
